TheSaif is a Southwest Asian/ North African (SWANA) artist born and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and is now based in New York City. He is a self-taught musician who started making music at a young age. TheSaif recent work includes his latest single, Labne, featured on Fresh Finds Arabia as “one of the best new music by independent artists from the MENA region,” and Bringing It Back (ft. Scorzayzee).
As a child, TheSaif was inspired by a variety of music genres thanks to his father’s collection of hundreds of music CDs from artists around the world, such as Buddha-Bar, The Neptunes, Umm Kulthum, Kenny G, Amr Diab, Nelly Furtado, Michael Jackson, Abdul Majeed Abdullah, Yanni, Madonna, B.B. King, Johann Sebastian Bach, Carlos Campos (Barrio Latino), George Benson and more.
